Join us on Saturday, September 13th, as we kickoff our 2025 Youth Ministry with “No Filters: A Youth Night On Our Authentic Self.”

The world of social media can be such a difficult place to feel accepted. After all, it’s one great big highlight reel where everyone shows off their best. But, each of us has our very own “blooper reel” that we would love to hide from the world. When we add the pressures to live up to the expectations of our friends, teachers, and families it can feel like we are constantly putting on masks and filters that only show off the parts of us that feel safe to share.

At this youth night we will explore some of those pressures and find some tools that might let us extend some of God’s grace to ourselves and show up “just as we are.” Oh, and if that doesn’t sound fun, we also have some homemade catapults that we get to try out as well.

Our event will take place at the St. Columba Youth Center in the basement of the St. Columba Parish House (not the church). Just go down the driveway down the big hill behind the parish house to enter through the door into our Center. Our event is open to all 8th-12th graders.
